Microsoft and Nintendo offer reactions to Sony's recently announced free social networking/avatar experience called Home. With reactions like "This is an example of Sony's 'Mii-too' approach" and "not a very game-centric approach" illustrating early competitive venom, it will be interesting to see how gamers react when the game arrives later on PlayStation 3.

1. Not only are Nintendo and Microsoft afraid but they also see a potential threat for the first time.
The comment from MS that the service is not "game centric" is a crock. So exactly what is game centric about downloading an episode of Family Guy or Superman Returns? Over the past few months MS has been busy getting movies and TV shows into the XBL experience as well as marketing their HD-DVD add-on. I'm sure an MS employee with a PhD in marketing could spin it but based on their comments I sense more fear than anything else.
Lastly, when I stumbled onto this site from the main AOL page I was immediately impresed with the overall design and structure of the site. But then I noticed that you have zero, zilch, nada coverage on Sony's Home service. Outside of this reaction from MS and Nintendo there's nothing. I could be wrong but it would appear that the editors of this site have decided not to publish any information on the service.
So it begs the question, are you a bunch of Sony haters or did Phil turn you down for an interview and you're overtly bitter? I noticed that with all the GDC coverage you claim you have there's not a word about Home beyond this blog.
I like your site but I don't see myself coming back. Thanks but no thanks. I'm sure you won't miss me but if I'm right you guys (and gals) need to get a grip or just come out and say that you're a fanboy-centric site and call it GameDailysansSony.com. But I'd imagine that you're advertising partners may not take to that too well.
